The Laguna College is open to students with satisfactory academic work and
valid entrance credentials. The applicants should pass the entrance
examination given by the guidance office for the level he/she is applying
for, subject to the availability of accommodation and facilities of the
school. The students, having been admitted to the Laguna
College and having
completed his enrolment, agree to abide by the rules and regulations set
by the College. The basis of the admission policies set by the College is
the belief that only those students whose qualifications indicate a strong
likelihood of success and who can measure up to its academic standards course therefore, the Laguna College admits only those enrollees in the who
possess good moral character, personal integrity, and maturity of purpose
and behavior befitting a college student. The school reserves the right to
refuse enrolment or re-enrolment to the following:
1. Students who have physical or mental illness, contagious disease
or other sickness as certified by the school physician which may
be aggravated by the burden of college studies.
2. Students with disciplinary cases considered grave by the committee
on discipline.
2.1
Students who have participated in, incited, caused, or led
acts of violence, vandalism, and other forms of utter
disregard for law and order.
2.2
Students known to be or to have been associated with elements,
groups, or movements that tend to subvert the country's
democratic institutions.
2.3
Students who cannot abide by the rules and regulations of
the school.
2.4
Students whose attitudes, conduct and behavior tend to
undermine the orderly processes and are not conducive to the
promotion of the general welfare.
3.
Students who have been convicted by a competent court of crime
involving moral turpitude or crimes of violence.
4.
Students who have poor scholastic records, especially those who
in the previous term/year failed in and/or dropped 50% of all
registered units.
5.
Transfer students who fail in or drop any subject or who violated
any school rules and regulations during the probation period.
Students from other countries, if enrolling for the first time, shall
submit a study permit from the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports;
and a photocopy of the Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR).
Cross-registrations outside the college by the students in their last
semester may be permitted with the prior written approval of the Dean
concerned and the registrar
No credit shall given for any work done if the
permit has not been secured. No students shall be allowed to enroll in his senior year without having
finished his ROTC training or his Physical Education units.
On-line Registration Policy
The necessary guidelines of
the school regarding on-line registration are the following:
·The
registration system is open to the students who studied at least one
semester. A student who had not yet finished a semester could not access
the on-line registration.
·The
system will ask the student number, user name & password of every student.
The system will provide the information when the student forgot his/her
password! The registrar gave the password so that the student will have only
one password!
·The
system is not responsible for any necessary changes to the files of the users.
The user must not share his password with others. Report immediately to the
registrar office if
someone else learns your password; you must change it to secure all important
information.
Registration
Procedures
General
Policies:
1.Students
are advised to read the enrollment procedures posted on the bulletin board. These
procedures must be strictly followed to insure facility in enrollment in the
proper filling of enrollment forms.
2.
Students must enroll on the days designated for
their academic years to facilitate enrollment. Enrollment schedules may vary
from semester to semester. Students are asked to consult the bulletin board
before the start of each term.
3.Each
student must enroll in person.
4. The Laguna College does not guarantee the availability of particular
subject's) or
sections thereof. "First come, first served" basis will be
followed. Class cards for admission to classes are issued until the
maximum number of students allowable in any section has been reached.
5.The
college reserves the right to cancel sections already programmed due to
insufficient number of students or other necessitating circumstances. No charge
is imposed for changing subjects in such a case.
6.When
a student fails to pay debts, the college may withhold re-enrolment and other
services, such as grades, certification, and transcript of records or F-138 and
F-137 until the debts are paid.
7.The
college reserves the right to determine whether a credential submitted will be
accepted as official. Credentials submitted become part of the student's
permanent record and cannot be withdrawn after registration has been completed.
8.Students
are not allowed to enroll in advanced subjects before they have completed the
corresponding pre-requisite subjects of the preceding year or years under the
penalty of losing the credit(s) in that subject(s).
9.No
credits will be given t subjects not validly enrolled or registered, and
subjects or units in excess of the regular load not authorized as per DECS/CHED
regulations.
10.Students
are allowed to attend only the classes in which they are enrolled or registered.
11.A
student who withdraws in writing before the official start of classes shall be
charge a processing fee of P 500.00.
How to get a
password???
This is applicable to new student & transferee
student in school studied at least one semester.
·The
student should go to the registrar office for the application.
·The
student should present a valid ID, receipt, & student copy to the
registrar.
·The
student will fill – up all the forms as well as the password & user name
needed in registration.
·The
student will now used the student number, user name & password in second
semester enrollment.
·If
the student forgot his password, the system will ask information about the user
that will identify his background. If the user answers the question correctly,
the system will give his missing password. And if not, please e-mail or call
the registrar office.
Credential
Elementary
school graduates must present their F-138. Transfer high school students must
present to the registering officer their F-138 and certification of good moral
character from the Principal of the school where they came from.
High
school graduates must present to the registering officer their F-138 and a
certification of good moral character from the Principal of the school where
they came from.
Colleges
enrollees transferring from other schools must present to the registering
officer their transfer credentials from the school previously attended with a
certification of good moral conduct and behavior from (a) their Dean and (b) a
full-time faculty member of the Laguna College.
***Students
who are Baccalaureate degree holders in the Laguna College andwho wish to
take another under-graduate course must apply for admission.***
